I value working on what really matters to you before it’s too late. After working for over 17 years at various reputed high-tech firms, I wanted a breath of fresh air. At Squarecap, I use my prior experiences and my passion for education to build my dreams from the ground up. I dedicate my work to executing to our vision, gaining and supporting customers, as well as overseeing operations. Outside of work, I enjoy chasing my 3 year old in various city parks or catching some alone time in the lap pool.

As the son of university professors, I've always been taught to value education and the work of teachers. My motivation for co-founding Squarecap was to help every student get the education and support that they deserve. As Squarecap's CEO, I get to spend every day building a company that empowers teachers and makes education more accessible and interactive for students. When I'm not working, I'm often found rock climbing, writing, or enjoying some live music.

I am an experienced educator, curriculum designer, and technology specialist whose focus is on the incorporation of technology and teaching strategies that promote academic achievement for all students. I am passionate about empowering both K-12 and higher education faculty to maximize student success by sharing the best available tools, resources, and research.

With over 25 years of teaching and research experience, I highly value education and critical thinking. I wanted to make class engaging and exciting to help every student succeed. I founded Squarecap to accomplish this mission. In addition to serving at Squarecap, I teach Biology at the University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College as well as conduct research on alternate biofuels. When I find time, I love to read books, watch movies, cook Indian food, and garden.

After founding my own startup I developed a passion for entrepreneurship and sales. Joining the Squarecap team was exciting for me because I had freedom in my creativity and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment. As as student at the University of Texas, I understand the value that a product like Squarecap brings to the learning experience. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy trading stocks and improving my programming skills. 

As a passionate coder, I continuously seek out the latest tech and opportunities. Moreover, I love when tech can be combined with helping others. As an intern at Squarecap, I am excited to upgrade the traditional classroom into one that empowers both the teacher and their students. Outside of work, I enjoy working on side projects, eating sushi, and playing video games.

As someone fascinated by the world of innovation, I love finding new ways to use technology to benefit the people around us. It follows that I'm passionate about both technology and entrepreneurship. This is why I feel so lucky to have the opportunity as an intern at Squarecap to directly impact the educational experience of my peers. Beside's coding, I also enjoy video games, playing soccer, and learning new skills with friends.
